Our new healthcare facility in Rangiora

We are excited to be in the final stages of construction of our new healthcare facility in Rangiora.  Until construction is complete we will continue to provide healthcare to you from our two current locations at Victoria Street and Good Street.

What is changing?

  • Our new facility is located next to the current Rangiora Health Hub.
  • There will be plenty of parking available
  • We will have radiology services and a pharmacy.  We will let you know when these additional services will be available on site.
  • We will be commencing an extended hours urgent care from the same facility.  We will keep you updated on when this service will be available.

What is staying the same?

  • We will continue to provide general practice healthcare to our enrolled patients from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  
  • The same great team from Victoria Street and Good Street will be available for you to see at our new facility.
  • The phone number you call to contact us remains unchanged.
  • Our website remains unchanged rangioramedical.co.nz
  • You can continue to use Manage My Health to book appointments, view test results and order repeat prescriptions.

When will the new medical centre be opening?
We are working hard to finalise construction and provide our patients and the community with the opening date, which will be in 2026.

How will I know where my appointment is?
If you receive text reminders, these will include the location of your appointment.  Please double check prior to attending your appointment.

What is the address of the new medical centre?
Once our address is finalised we will update the information on this website.

Where can I get any prescriptions sent to?
We will continue to send prescriptions to the most convenient Pharmacy for you.  Once the onsite Pharmacy is open, you can choose to get your prescriptions onsite.

Where do I go for blood or lab tests?
Blood and lab tests will continue to be provided at Awanui Labs in Rangiora or wherever is most convenient for you.

How do I find out more about your extended hours urgent care facility?
As we have more information, we will share this with you including our hours and the services we will provide.

Will there be changes to the team?
We will ensure our team details are kept up to date as we recruit more people to join us.  Check back here regularly to stay up to date.

Will the fees be changing?
The fees you currently pay at Rangiora Medical will not be changing at our new facility, however we will have a different set of fees for our After Hours Urgent Care, once this is open and operating.
